X Factor or Soap Factor???

Well we all know that Frankie Cocozza has been axed from the X Factor! It’s all over the newspapers, all over Facebook and Twitter, its EVERYWHERE?!?!

Have you actually thought about the real reason why Frankie has been axed? Sure it’s easy enough for the officials to claim he broke a' golden rule' and was participating in drugs, but weren’t they already aware of Frankie’s behaviour? After all, the one thing Gary said that was going to make sure Frankie didn’t do was; ‘behave’.

This kid had auditioned for this show, as well as Britain’s Got Talent before, and he didn’t even make it to the judges, so what was new this time? It certainly hasn’t been his voice that’s improved! No, Frankie was the 'chosen one' ,for this years ‘joke’ act. We all thought it was going to be Goldie who would follow in the footsteps of Wagner and Jedward, but no we were tricked and now it has been seen that, Frankie, was this year’s ENTERTAINMENT FACTOR.

I myself am not a fan of Cocozza, but even I can see that he is not the only teenager to be going out on the town and getting up to no good. X Factor can also see this; if they really wanted Frankie on that show then they would not show scenes of him out drinking and partying. Although they want him to have that bad boy image, they wouldn’t have let it go that far.

Frankie Cocozza was just another way for the X Factor to get itself in the headlines. The producers knew Simon Cowell’s departure was going to hit them hard, so this was their back up plan. They wanted Cocozza to be out in the public eye and getting snapped up by the big tabloid papers. Each week he was also being given songs way out of his vocal range and style, like Louis said; he is never going to be a star.

Poor kid, he was being fed a dream that would last as long as it took the producers to come up with a new plan….and so they did. Upon deciding to bring back the first four acts that were axed by the judges on the first live show, the producers have caused a great amount of anger. Viewers do not think it is fair that the chosen acts have been able to bypass the first six weeks….in their eyes, if they have to bring someone back….all the ex acts from the live shows should have the chance of a return.

X Factor is as much as a soap as it is a reality show!
