Sun, Sex and Suspicious Parents

Imagine you are 18 years old (for some of you that may be a very long time ago...jokes), imagine that you are about to embark on your first holiday away with your friends. You would be excited, thrilled, there would be nights out, cocktails, dancing, playing and whatever else you may happen to get up top. You are free; you can do what you like, no parents!! No-one to say no you can't do that, or decide when dinner is or tell what you can or cannot wear.
Of course you will tell your parents about it all when you get back, but there will be some of it that you will tend to keep on the down low.

Now imagine being the parent....your child is going on holiday for the first time alone. Let's be honest, you will be worried and want to know how they are buuuut at the same time there is just some stuff you'd rather remain oblivious to.

Sun, sex and Suspicious Parents is a show on the BBC, were parents seceretly follow their teens on holiday and see everything they get up to.

There is just some things in life we would rather not and should not see, for instance an ape in a dress or the gross 'two girls one cup' clip...and for most adults its their young offspring’s antics on a foreign holiday with their mates.

It’s wrong, they don't need to know every single little thing their adult children get up to. If my parents suddenly appeared on my holiday I would be raging!! I have nothing to hide from them, I am honestly quite open to them about what I get up to, but it would be the fact that they came on my holiday, took away my freedom and i would feel like they didn't trust me!!!

It's so annoying when the parents get all annoyed at the teens; they are the ones who invaded on the holiday!! They are young and trying to enjoy life, experience new things, trial and error, learn from the mistakes and all that jazz!!!

Mummy, Daddy...if you are reading this....please don't turn up on my holiday otherwise I will have to find new parents :p

We are young, we are sensible, you taught us well, just trust us...we wouldn't do anything would never have done.... =D
